Slow Eating
How does sound change our taste perception?
The majority of people in America mindlessly shove food into their mouths without thinking about what they are eating. To explore this idea, I experimented with how the senses could be used to make people more aware, and perhaps heighten their eating experience.

I decided to pair specific foods with sounds that would amplify their tastes and textures. In doing so, I wanted to create awareness of the physical sensation one feels when eating. The act of combining different foods with sounds allows one to become hyper-aware of each of the foods' various properties.
